Sound commercial strategies for Government materiel procurements require integrated solutions spanning technical, logistics, commercial, financial, industry and management.

RDA’s team has expertise in all of these areas, as both acquirer and supplier, and can quickly assemble the right team to determine the best strategy for any materiel procurement, be it for off-the-shelf items, large-scale developmental solutions, or for support services.

In Defence, RDA has contributed to the development of acquisition strategies, support procurement strategies and project execution strategies, and is currently supporting CASG in conducting Smart Buyer workshops.

RDA has made a significant contribution to CASG’s practices in relation to commercial strategies through the development and implementation of policy and guidance for developing procurement strategies for both acquisition and support, and is currently providing hands-on training in developing support procurement strategies.
